Founded Wilkinson ERA Real Estate in 2000 and built it to over 850 agents in NC/SC with 14 offices and 50 employees with $1.5 Billion in sales and over $35 million in revenue.

Ian Corfield grew up in a small town in the northeast of England; Durham to be exact, coal mining and shipbuilding country. He joined the British Army at age 16, and spent seven years active duty and three more in the Airborne Reserves. Another seven years as a British police officer working mainly in central London.
During Ian’s period with the Parachute Regiment Airborne Reserves, he trained extensively with American Airborne forces in Fort Bragg, NC. Looking eventually for a change of pace and direction in my life, he officially moved to the U.S. in April 1997.
Ian found the real estate industry by working for a local new home builder.
In 2001, Ian teamed up with Scott Wilkinson and joined Wilkinson ERA Real Estate. He has been heavily involved in helping the company grow while continuing to help clients find their ideal homes in a wide range of areas and price points.
In September of 2020 he rejoined Scott Wilkinson at his new and innovative company NorthGroup Real Estate.

Writing new chapters for clients traveling through their real estate journey is my passion. I emphasize integrity, energy, hard work and creative service in every detail of a real estate transaction. I have been licensed Realtor and Broker in Charge in the Greater Greenville area for well over 25 years. In 1995, I pioneered the first “Exclusive Buyer Agency” Firm in Greenville called Buyers First Realty which later became Realty Source. In 2002, I opened the original Exit Realty franchise in Greenville called Exit Upstate Realty. In addition, I h helped develop the Exit Professional Institute, where we taught new and under developed agents to learn the basic skills in real estate. In 2010, we merged with Wilkinson ERA which later became Market Pros Realty in 2018.
In 2020, Scott Wilkinson approached us with becoming part of the NorthGroup family. NorthGroup is the most modern, up to date real estate firm for business minded agents. Agents no longer are burdened with unnecessary splits and transaction fee and can truly be independent with all the support and industry tools for success. I’m a full-time, full-service real estate broker. My clients include: sellers; first-time homebuyers; buyer & seller relocation; active duty military; veterans; investors; builders; and financial institutions with foreclosure properties. In 2001, I relocated from Nova Scotia, Canada to Havelock, NC as a marine corps wife. I currently live in New Bern with my husband, Marston Crawford, daughter, Audrey and two rescue pets. I graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with a Bachelor of Arts and then completed post-graduate studies in Human Resources. I attended East Carolina University and have a NC Teacher’s License. I am passionate about renovating, reusing and repurposing everything from household items to real estate. In 2006, I bought my first home and discovered I am addicted to houses. I’ve bought and renovated foreclosure properties. I own and manage both long-term rental and vacation rental properties. Becoming a Realtor was an easy transition that combined my interests, education and work experience. I am a NC State Certified Beekeeper. I am Past President of the Craven-Pamlico Beekeepers Association. I am an active member of the New Bern Shrine Club and I volunteer at Public Radio East. I received my insurance license in 2007 and began working as an AFLAC agent. In 2009 I started working in the office at Prudential Hickory Metro, learning the behind-the-scenes of real estate while still pursuing the insurance field. In 2010 I began working at Colonial Life as an Agency Sales Manager in charge of recruiting, sales, servicing, and writing new business. In March 2013, I made a move to become a full-time REALTOR®.
